Stay With Us
Relax and refresh in peace
We are proud that our rooms have recently been awarded ‘4-star Silver’ by the AA. Our four tastefully decorated rooms – named after locks on the Thames – are clean and cosy with a relaxing, neutral colour scheme and wooden furniture. Enjoy a restful nights sleep on a comfy King-size pocket sprung mattress and wake up to a steaming hot shower, the morning paper and a hearty cooked breakfast.
You’ll find the Baskerville just a stones throw from the river making it perfect watering hole for hungry walkers seeking a hearty Ploughman’s or homemade pie on a Thames Path ramble – muddy boots and soggy dogs are most welcome! Our spacious restaurant is a stylish yet modest place to enjoy a memorable 3-course meal.
Ethos and Service
Compassionate farming, sustainability, localism and seasonality are at the forefront of The Baskerville’s ethos. Our accomplished kitchen brigade work tirelessly to source only the best quality local meats, cheeses, fruit and vegetables as possible. Our bread is baked three miles away at Lawlor’s Bakers and much of our meat is reared on Oxfordshire soil.
